Alan Gabriel McDooling

1948-2024 

Alan passed away peacefully at Freeport Palliative Care Unit on Tuesday April 9, 2024 at the age of 75 years.

Born and raised in Toronto and attended Bathurst Heights Secondary School .  Alan worked for the ambulance Service in Toronto that later became Metropolitan Toronto Ambulance Service, where Alan fulfilled many ambulance skills with the delivery of care to the sick and injured in a land ambulance, a fixed wing aircraft as well as a helicopter,  in Northern Ontario.   In 1985 he purchased West Lincoln Ambulance Service in Grimsby Ontario until 2000 when the Region took over many Services including West Lincoln Ambulance Service.  Alan was a member of the Ontario Ambulance Operators Association.   His main hobby was fishing .

Alan is survived by his wife Ruth,  3 Children along with their spouses,   Grand Children and  Great Grandchildren. He is survived by 3 sisters and a brother, nieces and nephews.

Cremation will take place.  A Private family Interment  will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice in Alan’s name as expressions of sympathy.
