Derek Jefferies

Derek passed away suddenly on Tuesday, July 2, 2024. He was born on September 15, 1934 in England. He lived most of his life in Cambridge. He worked for many years with Canada Post in Mississauga as a driver. His life and passion revolved around caring for animals. He often placed their well-being ahead of his own. This respect for animals extended to his lifestyle as he was a strict vegetarian.

Derek was a very private person and content with his choice of lifestyle. He was often known to be stubborn and uncompromising… but that was Derek! He was always appreciative of any assistance and support given to him, but on his terms.

Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation or service.
