Kirk James Gallichan

1957- 2024

Kirk passed away unexpectedly with family by his side at Cambridge Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, October 9, 2024.

Kirk was born on May 27, 1957, in Grande Prairie, Alberta. He was an avid sports fan and outdoor enthusiast, and always loved a good steak dinner and spending time on the water fishing with family and friends.  However, his greatest pleasure was spending time with his grandchildren, particularly at their sporting events and during the holiday seasons.

Loving father of Jeramie Gallichan (Pamela) and Becky Ramzan (Nazim).  Proud Papa of Parker, Cayden, Leah and Lacey.

Dear brother of Shannon, Mark and Karen and especially close with his Aunt Marg and her family.  Predeceased by his parents; Foster Gallichan (2017) and Sandra Law (1996). Kirk will be missed by many, including his extended family and all of his friends.

As per his wishes, a cremation will take place and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Although Kirk was a passionate Chicago Blackhawks and Toronto Blue Jays fan, we invite you to wear your preferred team jersey or sports shirt, have a good steak dinner, enjoy your favourite drink and cast a few lines.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cambridge Memorial Hospital as expressions of sympathy.
