Lawrence “Larry” Chomiak

1943 – 2024 

Passed away peacefully at Freeport Hospital, Kitchener on Friday October 18th, 2024 at the age of 81 years.

Larry’s passions were “all things fishing” and woodworking. He was a long -time volunteer with K-W Woodworking and Craft Centre.

He is the cherished brother of Art of Port Charlotte, Florida and Valerie Morris of Merrickville, Ontario. He will be remembered by his two granddaughters Alexis and Sydney, by a nephew, Michael and by a great nephew David  both of Port Charlotte.  He is survived a son Lee Chomiak of Wasaga Beach.

Predeceased by his son Richard.

Cremation has taken place. A gathering will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Grand River Hospital Foundation or Canadian Wildlife Federation as expressions of sympathy.
