Lorence Dean Holden

December 20, 1941 - December 25, 2023

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Lorence Dean Holden at the age of 82 years.

He leaves behind his wife Ann, daughter Connie Monahan and her husband Dave and son Dean Holden and his wife Nikki. He is predeceased by his daughter Lisa Wamil. He will be missed dearly by his grandchildren Taylor, Riley, Madi, Aleisha, Jacob, Jett and Kaia.

He was born and raised in Kitchener, Ontario. He served in the Royal Canadian Navy as a radarman. He was his happiest when he was spending time with and cooking for his family. His bologna, egg and cheese and western sandwiches will be missed. He spent many hours walking his beloved Miniature Pinchers Ernie and Timmy. He drove many kilometers in his RV with his family and their Min Pin exploring parts of Canada and the USA. He loved the ocean and we plan to take him back there.

Dean was very gifted at fixing anything and everything. He always found himself helping his family and friends.

Thank you to the staff at Trinity Village for caring for Dean.

In keeping with his wishes, he will be cremated and there will be no funeral.

In his memory, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society, Crohn’s and Colitis Canada or the MS Society of Canada.

Messages and condolences may be left for the family at www.tricitycremations.com or 519.772.1237. Please visit Lorence’s obituary notice on Facebook.
