Mitchell Gordon Larke

1950 – 2024

Passed away peacefully at Rotary Hospice Stratford on Friday March 29, 2024 at the age of 74. 

Loving father of Kara Larke (Jason Hickey), Hayley Larke (Walter Prinsen), and Megan Larke (Dwayne Seguin) and their mother/former spouse, Jane Larke

Cherished Grandfather/Grumpus/Coach to Ethan, Evan, Aaron, Ava, Olivia, Max and Braylin. Dear Brother of Karen Larke.

Predeceased by his parents Stan and Dorthy Larke.

Born in Toronto, Ontario and raised in Richmond Hill where he met his lifelong friend Mike Leishman. Mitch graduated from Richmond Hill Secondary School and Ryerson Polytechnical Institute in the Photographic Arts program. He spent most of his career in Radio Sales across Southwestern Ontario. Mitch was an avid dreamer with an infectious laugh. His ability to tell a story will be remembered by everyone he crossed paths with. His positive optimism will make the sun shine a little brighter from above. 

Cremation will take place. A celebration of life and private family gathering has been held in his honour.
