Rhonda McClement (Monette)

June 12, 1962 – May 24, 2023

Her family is saddened to announce that Rhonda passed away quite unexpectedly during her hard-fought battle with cancer at the age of 60.

She was the beloved wife of Paul for 33 years and the cherished mother of Scott.

She is survived by her siblings Trudy Yoanidis, Alan (Tammy) Monette, Gwen (Clayton Moore) Monette; sister-in-law Joanne (David) Brown and mother-in-law Pat McClement.

Rhonda was pre-deceased by her parents Ron & Ruth Monette, brother Paul Monette, and father-in-law Glen McClement.

Also left to mourn are her nieces and nephews Ryan (Marie) Yoanidis, Marty (Amanda) Monette, Peter (Fran) Monette, Alana Monette, Terri (Jordan) Weishar, and Jim Brown.  She was known as “Fun Aunt Rhonda” to her many great-nieces and great-nephews, who will all miss her dearly.

Rhonda was born and raised in Timmins and graduated with top honours from TH&VS.  She completed her education at Western University and then made her life (family, friends, and career) in Waterloo and Listowel.

Rhonda loved to travel and enjoyed many trips around the world with her husband and friends.

Cremation has taken place and there will be no funeral service.

Donations in her memory can be made to the Grand River Hospital and/or St. Mary’s Hospital in Kitchener/Waterloo, both of which provided her excellent care!

Messages and condolences may be left for the family at www.tricitycremations.com or 519.772.1237. Please visit Rhonda's obituary notice on Facebook.
