Robert Edward Wismer "Wiz"

1950 - 2023

Bob lost his courageous battle with cancer at Hamilton General Hospital surrounded by the love of his family. Beloved husband of Karen Herteis. Loving father of Morgan (Dave), Kaitlyn (Jordan), with his first wife Bev (Howard). Proudest Grandad to Benjamin, Sydney, Jackson, Blake and Carter. Best friend and brother to John (Ellen). Bob very much enjoyed the company of his nieces and nephews, Josh (April), Elysia (Mike), Katie (Matt) and Megan.

Bob is predeceased by his mother and father, Lil and Bert.

Bob treasured his friendships from Manitoulin, Elliot Lake, Doon, Kincardine and beyond.  He had a creative and  caring soul who shared his love through music, photography, cooking, gardening, cards and travel.  We are all so fortunate to have had the master drip castle maker, the unbeatable cribbage champion and the creator of the 3 'I love you' squeezes for as long as we did.

Cremation has taken place.  Bob's family’s is planning an open house, in Kitchener on Saturday November 18th afternoon, please rsvp to bobopenhouse@gmail.com and receive for more information on time and location.
