Robert William “Bob” Schauber

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Bob on Friday May 5, 2023 at the age of 73 years.

He will be joining the love of his life  Elsa, of 35 years , who preceded him just 2 months ago.

Bob is also predeceased by his father Lawrence and mother Clara as well as his Kiertscher in laws.
 
He is survived by his son Bryan (Ginalyn) of Fort McMurray, Alberta, by his brother Donald “Don” (Dorothy) of Tickburn ON and their family, and by his sister Elizabeth “Liz” (Bruce) of Bayfield ON and their family. He will also be missed by many cousins, friends, co-workers and especially by the Kiertscher nieces and nephews and their families.
 
Bob was born and raised in Milverton where he went to Public School, his High School was Northwestern in Stratford.  He has worked as a welder, flight instructor, airplane mechanic, and door to door sales for many years.  He and Elsa loved to travel around the world and he enjoyed spending time with his pilot groups, playing cards, spending time at St. James Church on council and flying his family to and from Waterloo to Kingston often.

At his request, cremation will take place. A Celebration of Life will be on held on Saturday June 10th at St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church,  810 King St. E.  Cambridge ON, the Service swill begin at 2 pm followed by a reception in the church hall.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation as expressions of sympathy.
