Sabine Shorey

Passed away peacefully at Freeport Palliative Care, Kitchener on Saturday September 23rd, 2023 at the age of 64 years.

Born in Wolfsburg Germany to Heinz and Eva Grune and raised in Kitchener Sabine was always the friendly face. She would strike up a conversation and make friends with anyone everywhere she went. Her love of animals was endless. She loved them just as much as they loved her. Always willing to help whenever she could. She enjoyed spending time with her mother and grand kids as much as she could and would always “see you later.”

Sabine will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Tara Figueiredo(Jody) and her two sons Justin and Jordan Shorey. Cherished grandmother of Aiden, Isabella, and Sophie. Daughter of Eva Grune and sister to Tina Baulk.

At the request of Sabine a cremation will take place. A Celebration of Life / Gathering will be held at later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Canadian Cancer Society as expressions of sympathy.
