Sheila Simpson

In Loving Memory of Sheila Simpson.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Sheila Simpson, a beloved mother, grandmother sister, cousin and friend to many. She departed this world on September 13th 2023, peacefully at home with her family

Sheila Simpson was a remarkable woman known for her deep passions and unwavering love for life. Her joyous spirit touched the hearts of everyone she encountered.

One of her greatest passions was her love for birds. She had an extraordinary connection with these feathered creatures and spent countless hours observing, feeding, and caring for them. The songs of the birds in her garden were a constant source of comfort and delight.

In addition to her avian companions, Sheila had a talent for baking that was second to none. Her kitchen was a place of warmth and sweetness, where she created delectable treats that brought joy to her family and friends. Her legacy lives on in the recipes she shared and the memories created over homemade goodies.

Gardening was another cherished aspect of Sheila's life. Her green thumb transformed her outdoor spaces into vibrant and beautiful gardens, bursting with life and color. Her gardens were a testament to her nurturing spirit and her ability to make things flourish.

Sheila is reunited in the afterlife with her parents Ronald Hill, Glenna Hill and her sister Janet Pike who preceded her in death. She is survived by her loving brothers, Darwin, Gary, James and John, who will forever cherish the bond they shared.

Her legacy lives on through her two devoted daughters, Debbie, Katheleen and her granddaughter Mackenzie who have inherited her love for nature.

Sheila also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews and cousins who were inspired by her zest for life and will carry her memory in their hearts.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to be made to Cambridge Memorial Hospital  or Canadian Cancer Society.

May she rest in peace, surrounded by the melodies of the birds she adored and the beauty of the gardens she nurtured.
