Todd Andrew Benninger

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Todd Benninger on January 20, 2025 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Kitchener, Ontario at the age of 60.

Beloved husband of Julie  Benninger (nee Poje) for nearly 37 years.

Proud father of Holly and Lyric Benninger who he loved dearly and were his biggest joy. Sadly missed by his beloved Coco.

Cherished son of Barb Benninger and son-in-law of Margaret and Mark Monier-Williams. Todd is predeceased by his father Andy Benninger (2020).

Dear brother of Leigh (Mark) Levitan and brother-in-law of  Pam Robson and  Heather (Rob) Fascinato. Todd will be sadly missed by his nephew Ben , nieces Emily, Ireland and Rylee.

Todd will be sadly missed by many aunts, uncles, and cousins and great nephews.

Todd grew up in Cambridge before moving to Kitchener and was an avid sports fan who played hockey as a goalie from a very young age. He was a true Montreal Canadiens fan! He also played baseball even up to a few years ago with his Uncle Bill as part of Verns Boys. Todd was a collector at heart finding joy in the pursuit of treasures that spoke to his passions.

Cremation has taken place and a private burial will be in St Boniface Cemetery in Maryhill. In lieu of flowers, donations made to KW Humane Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
