Hans George Kraske

Passed away peacefully at Freeport Hospital, Kitchener on Monday July 10, 2023, at the age of 89 years.

Born to Konrad and Hedwig Kraske in Marienwerder, Germany on September 4, 1933, Hans lived a life of great interest that spanned countries and many lives. Trained as a marine engineer, he immigrated to Canada in 1957 with his newlywed wife. A variety of jobs ultimately led to the successful business partnership of Mentor Dynamics. Not shy of work or play, he also enjoyed his farm in Baden Ontario and cottage on Lake Nipissing. Extensive travel and passionate debates fed his curiosity.

Beloved husband and best friend of Erika. Loving father of Allan (Lori) and Doris. Dear brother of Rüdiger Kraske. Predeceased by sister Loti, brothers Kurt, Udo, Peter.

Cremation has taken place. At Hans’ request a private family gathering will be held to celebrate his life.
