Ann Janet Snider

Ann Snider (nee Massey) passed away peacefully at Sunnyside Long Term Care on November 9, 2023 at the age of 60.  Ann was born in Montreal and lived there until 1986 when she moved to Kitchener.

Beloved wife of the late Bob Snider (2019) and loving mother of Amanda Snider (Austin Harrison). Ann was predeceased by her parents Bill (2007) and Margaret (2022) Massey.  Dear sister of Bill Massey (Deb) and Mary Blais (Mark Wheatley).  Proud Aunt of Eva (Ben), Eric (Katie), Alex (Taylor), Erin (Peter), Neill (Laura) and great aunt of Kayla, Jacob, Meeyah, Olivia, Alexandra, Brynja, & Rhys.  

Ann enjoyed watching sports and seldom missed a hockey or football game. Ann was very creative and over the years she painted many beautiful ceramic Christmas ornaments that we will all cherish for many years to come.  Ann loved having a dog or two and was always up for a camping trip, mixing fancy drinks, baking beautiful desserts, BBQs, and dancing.  She loved the holidays, and spending time with her family.

Ann moved into the care of Sunnyside in March 2019, and since day one, she received the most marvellous consideration and care.  Our family will be forever grateful for the friendship, kindness, and hard work of the entire Sunnyside LTC staff and organization.  Thank you to everyone there.

We will miss Ann and her beautiful smile, her loving nature, and her infectious laugh. She had such a great passion for her life, and she was taken far too soon.

Cremation has taken place. A private family gathering will be held at a later date. Donations may be made directly to Mental Health, c/o Sunnyside Home, Long Term Care as expressions of sympathy.
