Beverly (Bev) Joan Delroy

Bev Delroy passed away peacefully on August 26, 2024, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, surrounded by the love of her family, at the age of 85. She is now reunited with her beloved husband of over 40 years, Robert (Bob) Delroy (2007). Bev was a devoted mother to Lori Gofton (Randy), John Delroy (Claire), Cheryl Cowie (Chris), and Shannon Hymers (Paul). Her greatest joy was being a proud grandmother to Aaron (Janet), Ryan, Amanda, Justin, Danielle (Jimmy) Jamie (Andrew), Josh, Lauren (Abram), Ethan, Matthew and Eric. Bev also had 10 wonderful great-grandchildren.

Predeceased by her parents Arthur and Alice Barradell, and her brother Wayne Barradell (Mary). Bev leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. She dedicated over 30 years to Long Manufacturing. Bev will be deeply missed by her best friends Vel Wylie and Dolores Fitzpatrick.

Bev's warmth and kindness were felt by all who knew her. She had a special knack for bringing her family together, whether for special occasions, events, or holidays, where she delighted in their company. Her friendships were equally precious, reflecting the genuine care she had for those close to her.

In accordance with Bev’s wishes, cremation has taken place, and there will be no formal memorial service. The family kindly requests that donations in Bev’s memory be made to Sunbeam Community and Developmental Services Kitchener, a cause dear to her heart.

 Bev will be dearly missed but forever remembered for her love for family.
