Brenda Ann Purvis

1940 - 2024

It’s with great sadness we announce the passing of Brenda Ann Purvis (nee Fisher) on March 14, 2024.  She passed away peacefully with her family by her side at Sunnyside Home in Kitchener.  

Brenda was born and raised in North East England and moved to Canada after her marriage to William (Bill) Purvis, her loving husband of 62 years. Bill was at her side for the ten years that she resided in Long Term Care due to an Alzheimer’s diagnosis.

Loving mother of Craig and the late Caron. Grandma to Jennifer, Christopher, Lindsay, Rebecca and Nicholas. Great Grandma to Taylor, Kourtney, Micheal, Daniel, Allison, Nathaniel and Domenic. Dear sister of Eileen, and the late Jillian and Jacqueline. Predeceased by her parents Wilfred and Charlotte Fisher

Cremation will take place and a private family gathering will be held at a later date.

The family would like to say a special thank you to the staff at Sunnyside Home for the support and care they provided to Brenda during her time there and for making her very comfortable at the end.
