Brian Watson Miller

April 11, 1950 - May 28, 2024

Brian passed away peacefully in the early morning of May 28, 2024 at Grand River Hospital. Predeceased in 2023 by his loving wife of 48 years Marilyn.

Brian was born in Gaspè, Quebec and moved to Ontario in the early 1970s. Brian worked as a fitter welder for 39 years at Babcock and Wilcox.

Brian is remembered fondly by his siblings Dagmar Gregg (the late Don), Lillian Despres (Noel), and the late Lorne Miller (Glenda). He was a cherished brother in-law to Cathy Amini (Siros), and Gail Irvine (Brian). Brian is predeceased by his parents Cecil and Dora, his in-laws Russell and Shirley Slater, his sister Daphne and brother in-law Evans Miller. Brian will also be remembered by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.  

The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses on 5D North at Grand River Hospital for their compassion and care during his time there.

 Cremation has taken place. Per Brian’s wishes, there will be a celebration of life at a later date.

 In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation or Canadian Diabetes Foundation.
