David G. Goebel

David peacefully drifted into the arms of his Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, surrounded by his family and friends at Grand River Hospital on August 27, 2024 at the age of 67.  Beloved husband of 50 years to Donna (nee Alford).

Loving father to Tammy and her husband Shawn (Cartlidge) of Newbury, and Chris Goebel and (Caitlin) of Kitchener.

Cherished Papa/Opa to Shekina, Zachary, Micayla, Caleb, Logan and Rylan.

Great Grandpa to Dallas, Wrenley and Lottie and soon expected one.

Dear brother to Susan and her husband Lee (Evershed) of Woodstock.

Dear friend to Bernetta Janes (Bernie).

David served proudly in the Canadian Armed Forces for almost 10 years.

The family would like to express their gratitude and thank all the Doctors and nursing staff at Grand River Hospital for their compassionate care of David.

Cremation has taken place as per his wishes.

A small private family celebration of life will take place at a later date.
