Donna Pauline Tanner

1947-2024

Donna passed away peacefully at St. Mary's Hospital on Tuesday, May 28th , 2024 at the age of 77 years.

Donna was born and raised in Waterloo, Ontario, spending most of her life in the Herbert Street area. She was a devoted Kitchener Rangers fan, rarely missing a televised game.

She is the beloved wife of the late John Tanner (2009). Mother of Kevin Tanner, Gordon (Jacki) Tanner, Stepmother of Tracy Tanner, Terri-Lynn (Yung) Robinson, and Tammy Tanner. Grandmother of Kayla, Maddie, Asia, Gwen, Griffin, Alex, and Zach. Sister of Sandy (Brian) Zettler, predeceased by brothers Tommy and Paul (Anya). Also predeceased by her parents Donald Baggett and Florence Baggett (nee Gerber).  Dear friend of Dorilla Caissie.

Cremation will take place. A private family gathering will be held at a later date where she will be laid to rest alongside her late husband in Greenwood Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Grand River Hospital Cancer Centre as expressions of sympathy.
