Elizabeth (Betty) Robertson
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Elizabeth (Betty) Robertson, just shy of her 84th year. Betty gained her wings on April 21, 2024, surrounded by her loving family at Oakville Trafalgar Hospital.
Betty was born in Oakville on April 26, 1940, to the late Albert and Doris Chapman. She lived a life full of laughter, joy and love which she’d spread to all those around her. Her warmth and contagious smile was felt by all. Betty will be forever missed and remembered by her family and friends.
She was the most loving, selfless, incredible mother to Wayne, Sherry, Chris and John. Her grandchildren, Gordon (Maricel), Shane, Cody (Raven), Jared (predeceased), Kristin (Evan), Jody (Tyler), Brooke, Carl, Victoria, Avery and Liam were her pride and joys. She was the most passionate, caring Nana who gave the best back rubs and the best hugs. Betty also leaves behind her little sweeties, her great-grandchildren; Braxton, Grace, Freya, Colson, Kennedy, Kane, Aria and Hayden. She loved them so dearly and was so proud to watch them grow. She was the cherished, beautiful sister to Bill, Rick (Barb), Mary-Lou, Jim (Deb) and sister-in-law Eileen. Betty is now reunited with her brothers Jack, Doug, Bob and Dave. She will be forever remembered and missed by many nieces and nephews. Our beautiful Mom, Nana, Sister, Aunt Betty inspired us every day. Her strength, determination, love for life and family was unwavering. She taught us all so much, leaving behind a remarkable legacy that we will continue to live up to.
We love and miss you beyond measure Mom, Nana, Boop, Betty. We now get to call you our beautiful Angel.
“There are no goodbyes for us. Wherever you are, you will always be in my heart. Love ya, later!”
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 27 at 1:00pm for family and friends at the Halton Navel Veterans Association in Burlington.
As well, thank you to the staff at Oakville Trafalgar Hospital ICU for the great care they provided.
