Elizabeth “Betty” Graham
1944 - 2024
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Betty Graham at the Listowel Memorial Hospital, on Wednesday September 25th, 2024 at the age of 80 years.
Betty was born in Coventry, England and emigrated to Canada October 1957 at the age of 13. She attended KCI in Kitchener and graduated from Programme 5 in Stratford, Ontario. She had worked for Magnetic Coil Ltd as a coil winder; At Sally’s Clothing Store as a sales clerk; at Trans Canada Credit and Traders Ltd as cashier and at the University of Waterloo ( Engineering Machine Shop) as the administration assistant/secretary.
Betty had a great interest in reading, knitting and following life stories on YouTube.
She is the beloved and best friend of Norm Graham (of Owen Sound) who were married at Knox Presbyterian Church in Waterloo, Ontario on May 28th, 1966.
She is the loving mother of Stephen ( R.I.P), Heather ( Wolfgang) Kuttelwascher of Waterloo, Ontario and Sandra Graham of Listowel, Ontario. The cherished grandmother of Lorraine, Brent and Fiona Kuttelwascher of Waterloo, Johnny Edgar and Ava Dafoe also of Listowel. Dear sister of Avril ( John ) McVicar of Listowel.
Predeceased by her parents Sarah (Iris) Starrett of Londonderry Northern Ireland and Robert Villiers of Coventry, England.
Cremation will take place. Family gatherings are on-going.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation as expressions of sympathy.
