Gary Patrick Dowdall

1943- 2025

Gary passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of his family at Freeport Hospital on Tuesday April 1st at the age of 81.

Gary was born in Windsor Ontario and later moved to Kitchener. He worked at Kaufman Footwear for the majority of his working years. Gary enjoyed skating, hockey, camping and music. He was known for his unique dance moves.

Beloved husband of 47 years and best friend of Cathy Dowdall (nee Hackbart). Loving father of Connie Cunningham (William), Patrick Dowdall (Amanda) and Kelly Dowdall (Matt). Dear brother of Linda Michelle-Pentelbury (Richard), brother-in-law to Wendy Martin and Judy Hackbart.

Cherished Grampa to Ashanti (Kevin), Jarule and Tish Cunningham, Cooper and Jackson Dowdall, and Jayden Arsenault. Great Grampa to Kimara. Lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by his parents Lawrence and Marguerite Dowdall (nee Perry), in-laws Dorothy and Roy Hackbart, and brothers - in-laws Art Martin and Howard Works.

Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday April 27th (1:30 - 4:30) 2025 at the Wellesley Recreation Complex (Community Room) at 1401 Queen's Bush Road Wellesley Ontario.
