Dennis Edward Fiebig
1953-2025
Passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of his family at Grand River Hospital Kitchener on Thursday, March 27th, 2025 at the age of 72 years.
Dennis was born in Hamilton On. At a young age his family moved to the Ottawa Valley. As a young adult, he met his forever beloved wife Sharon. They married and moved to Waterloo, where they resided for the last 50 years and raised their family. Dennis worked hard and gained many talents, skills and trades. However, his career path led him to his passion of driving truck. He enjoyed all the scenery and loved sharing many stories upon his returns. During Dennis’s down time he took pleasure in many different sports and hobbies, he really loved his outdoor adventures in nature with his family and friends. Upon retiring he embraced his family thoroughly, appreciating time spent with them while making cherished memories especially with his grandchildren.
Beloved husband and best friend of Sharon Fiebig (nee Schruder). They have been married for over 48 years.
Loving father of Julie Fiebig (Jamie), Michelle Fiebig (Char), and Christopher Fiebig (Karian)
Cherished grandfather of Olivia, Logan, Kiera, Calvin, Locke, Wes and Serenity.
Dear Brother of Sundra (late Earl Ott), Dean (Helen Brohart), late Sharon (Terrance Delorme), Beverly (Richard Johnston), and Barry (Bonnie Brown).
Predeceased by his parents Ernest and Doris Fiebig (nee Oliver).
Cremation has taken place. A visitation will be held on April, 26th, 2025 from 12pm-2pm at Christ Lutheran Church , 445 Anndale Rd. Waterloo. A Memorial Gathering will start at 2pm. Reception to follow in the church fellowship hall.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Christ Lutheran Church or Grand River Hospital Foundation as expressions of sympathy.
We would like to convey a special thank you to all the staff who attentively cared for Dennis through his final days in the ICU ward.
