Gerhard Alfred Meier

1941-2024

It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Gerry with family by his side on Thursday December 5, 2024 at St. Mary’s General Hospital at the age of 83 years.

Gerry was a huge car racing fan especially Formula 1. He was an avid reader who had a thirst for knowledge. He liked to hull his culinary skills & was always eager to try new recipes.

Gerry will be lovingly remembered by his sister in law Brenda, his nieces; Tanya and Patti , nephews ;Tom, Shawn, Rodney and Adam.

Also fondly remembered by Kenny, Shelley, Kelly & his friend Fred.

Predeceased by his parents; Alfred and Charlotte Meier (nee Saltzmann) by sister Renate , brothers; Lothar & Harald, nephews; Oliver & Todd & twin nieces Martina & Madeline.

Cremation has taken place and a family gathering will be held in the Spring of 2025.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to KW Humane Society would be appreciated by the family.
