Harry Homeniuk Jr.

December 1st, 1952 – February 22nd, 2024

It is with great sadness that the family of Harry Homeniuk Jr announce his passing on Thursday February 22nd, 2024, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital surrounded by family, after a long battle with cancer. 

Harry will be lovingly remembered by his daughter Christine (Tim) Carver, step-children Scott (Jess) Cook, Karrie (Brett) Minken, son in-law Jamie (Liz) Rowe, grandchildren Mark Homeniuk, Alexander and Chloe Carver, step-grandson Ben Cook, brothers In-law Bill Schmidt, Brian (Cindy) Fergusson; and numerous other family members.

Harry was predeceased by his wife Maryanne Homeniuk, parents Harry Sr and Caroline Homeniuk, sister Patricia Schmidt, brother Mike Homeniuk, daughter Karen (Homeniuk) Rowe, son Harry Homeniuk, In-laws George and Rosemary (Willoughby) Fergusson.

Harry and Maryanne were lovingly married for 33 years before her passing in 2023. Harry was an avid golfer for the last number of years.  He had been involved with the Cambridge Referee Association for over 30 years.

As per Harry’s wishes, cremation has taken place, and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. 

If desired, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Canadian Cancer Society or Cambridge Humane Society would be sincerely appreciated.
