1953 - 2024

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Doug at Freeport Palliative Care Unit on Wednesday February 21, 2024 at the age of 70 years.

Born in Ottawa, Ontario, Doug loved the outdoors. He took great pleasure is spending time with his family and friends, fishing, camping and hunting.

Beloved husband and best friend of Susan Dinelle (nee Barry) who were married for over 49 years.

Loving father to Chris (Diane), and Tammy (Derek). Cherished grandfather to Samara (Julian), Olivia, Miles and Owen.

Dear brother of Terry (Vonda), Mike (Therese), Kathy (Alfred), June (Peter), Tina, and predeceased by Ronald (Laura), and Ellen.

Predeceased by his parents Alfred and Rita.

Cremation will take place. A Celebration of life will be held on Saturday March 2, 2024 at Trinity EMC, 330 Conservation Dr, Waterloo @1:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Canadian Lung Association as expressions of sympathy.
