James “Jim” William Curliss

Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family on August 4, 2024 at the age of 79.

Jim will be missed by his wife and best friend of 36 years, Marilyn. Cherished father of Jeff (Tania) and Chris (Krista) and grandfather of Lyla and Dashiel. Beloved brother of Robert “Bob” (Margaret). Lovingly remembered by sisters-in-law Janet, Brenda, Leslie (Roger) and Louise (Brian) and brothers-in-law Jim and Gary as well as many nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by his parents James Sr. and Catherine, his brothers-in-law Roy and René and sister-in-law Susan.

Jim loved golfing, fishing, reading, working out at the gym, biking, hiking and also travelling in the past several years.

Cremation has taken place and as per Jim’s wishes, there will be no memorial service.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the ALS Society of Canada, SPCA or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
