Elizabeth ”Liz” Marie Wesseling

1947-2024

Passed away unexpectedly in Kitchener on Tuesday, August 6th, 2024 at the age of 76 years.

Born in Holland and moved to Canada with her family in February of 1951.  Liz retired from Zehrs Markets in 2015, she loved travelling to warm places with her loving partner Pam.  You could always count on Liz for a good laugh or two; her sense of humour and big voice laugh made all those around her laugh.  Liz had a big heart and was beautiful from the inside out, she will be missed by so many!

Beloved partner and best friend of the late Pamela Gillard (daughter Carrie). Loving sister of Cobie Bennett (Karl), Bart Wesseling (Betty), Mieke Zawada (Hans), Leo Wesseling (Suzanne), Fred Wesseling (late Eileen), and Carmen Wesseling (Doug). Predeceased by her son Michael, her parents Leo & Maria and brothers George, Paul & Tony.

Dear Aunt (Tante) of many nieces and nephews.

Cremation has taken place and in following Liz’s wishes there will be no visitation or funeral ceremony.

Donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation as expressions of sympathy.
