Janet “Ann” Kneeshaw (Nee Osborne)

Rooted in faith and claimed by her Saviour, she flew into Glory in the quiet hours on Wednesday January 17, 2024. Ready to leave her earthly home for paradise in heaven, joining those gone home before, Ann left her mark of love, kindness and grace on all who were blessed to know her.

Ann is the treasured wife of Paul Kneeshaw for 64 years, and the cherished Momma of Jennifer (Detlef Brock) and Mary-Louise (Ken Klug). Her goodness, love and legacy lives on and will forever be celebrated by her most precious blessings, Juergen, Bianca (Chris), Erika (Bradley), and Sarah Grace.

Ann was predeceased by her parents Ellen and Alfred Osborne, and her stepfather Elmer Cunningham. She will be remembered by all who knew her, including her many nephews and nieces gifted to her by her seven siblings, Pat (Fisher) Lois (Sakowski), Mary (Stuart), Marjorie (Grice), Donna (Reynolds), Bill (Osborne) and Ellen (Wauk) who she loved dearly and missed until the very night she closed her eyes. She will also be remembered by her sisters-in-law Barbara (Dunn), Joy (Kneeshaw) and their children.

Ann wore her heart on her sleeve. She was gentle, humble and kind, and in her eyes all were equal, precious and loved unconditionally. Ann was grateful for the extended family gifted to her throughout her 87 years and was thankful for the love and memories made with John and Pam Donald (Leslie and John Jr.), Joachim and Agnes Brock, Claudia Brock, Colleen and John Rampelt, Fritz and Hanni Rampelt and families, and Jack and Marilyn Yorkowski. Ann loved her Trinity Village family and was grateful for the love, support and care of her Oak Ridge band of angels.

Ann has been cremated and a private family celebration of her life will be held. As an expression of sympathy it was her request that you simply smile, offer a kind word to a stranger, to humbly and without prejudice offer a helping hand to someone in need, to forgive someone who has wronged or hurt you, to find strength to overcome the trials and tribulations life begets, and to shine like the brightest star without need for validation, praise or fame.

She believed and valued her confirmation verse, “Lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.” (Matthew 28:20) and she will always be with us - forever!
