John Robert “Bob” Goetz

Passed away peacefully at Trinity Village Long Term Care , Kitchener on Saturday July 1, 2023 at the age of 93 years.
 
John was a Deputy Fire Chief at the University of Guelph for many years. He was born in Mildmay, Ontario and lived most of his life in the Waterloo Region. Retiring early, living in Wiarton. John loved spending his time fishing. Both off shore and on his boat.
 
Bob is survived by his brother, Bruce Goetz. He will be especially missed by his long time friends, the Robbins family. He is predeceased by his parents; John “Jack” and Armenia “Babe” and by siblings; Allan, Helen, Ray, Kaye and Jim.

Cremation has taken place. There will be no service held at his request.
