Claire Proulx
The family announces with great sadness the passing of Claire Proulx (née Joly), surrounded by loving family on Wednesday June 28, 2023, at Innisfree House in Kitchener at the age of 96. Loving wife of the late Léonid Proulx.
Loving mother of Laurier (late Rosanna) Proulx, Donald (Denise) Proulx, Gaston (Lucie) Proulx, Edna (late Werner) Pohl and Carmen (late Rolland) Remillard. Grandmother of Sylvie Proulx, Marc (Heather) Proulx, Rémi (Diane) Proulx, André Proulx, Eric (Jamie-Lee) Proulx, David (Stephanie) Proulx, Danielle (Clayton) McMartin, Ashley Mickus, Kayla (Jason) Pohl, Patrick Remillard, and Richard (Denise) Remillard. She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Predeceased by her parents Wilfred and Rose Marie Joly.
Dear Sister of late Albert Joly, Lucienne (late Jean) Messier, Blanche (late Léonard) Levac, Gabrielle (late Edmour) Thomas, late Roland (Rolande) Joly, Pauline (late Jean-Guy) Houde, and late René (Françoise) Joly.
She will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at St. Mary’s Hospital and Innisfree House. Cremation will take place, and a celebration of life will be held in Iroquois Falls ON at a later date.
