1938 - 2024

It is with profound sorrow that we inform you of the passing of our beloved mother at Grand River Hospital on Saturday, September 14th, 2024 in her 86th year. She was born and raised in Dublin, Ireland, and later migrated to Canada from England with her small family. She is survived, cherished, and deeply missed by Margaret (Dave), Keith (Nancy), June, Gordon (deceased) She leaves behind a caring extended family, including numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

During her tenure at Scott's Pavilion in Grand River Hospital, she found immense fulfillment in her work. In her later years, she dedicated herself to aiding and supporting the downtown street community of Kitchener. Renowned for her vibrant yellow attire, ceaseless conversations, and a well-stocked cart of supplies, she established a familiar presence at local markets and grocery stores in the vicinity. She consistently greeted others with a smile, a listening ear, a cup of coffee, and an unwavering willingness to lend a hand whenever possible.
