Rody Esther Neumann

Rody Esther Neumann, 67, passed away on September 15, 2024 after a short but courageous battle with cancer. 

Rody was born on June 20, 1957 to her beloved parents, Maria-Teresa and Juan René in San Felipe, Chile. Rody lived in Chile for 31 years before bravely embarking on a journey to Canada in search of a better life, a testament to her strength, resilience, and adventurous spirit. 

In Canada, Rody found her soulmate, Otto Neumann, with whom she built a beautiful and loving family. She was a devoted mother to Monica and Christian, who she cherished deeply.

Rody’s greatest pride and joy was her role as a mother, a role embraced with love, wisdom, and endless support. She nurtured her children with kindness, teaching them values of love, family, and creativity. 

Rody had an incredible gift for crafts. Her hands, always busy with projects, created some of the most adorable and cherished Christmas decorations, bringing warmth and joy to every holiday season. Her creations, whether holiday decorations or other charming crafts, were treasured by family and friends alike. The love she poured into each piece was evident, and her decorations had a way of making every room feel more like home.

Her warmth, creativity, and boundless love will be deeply missed but forever remembered by those who had the privilege of knowing her. Rody’s legacy lives on in the countless hearts she touched, and in the beauty of the moments she created with her family and her community.

Rody is survived by her children Monica and Christian, and siblings Juan, Rosa, René and Mauricio of Chile and a community of friends and loved ones who will forever cherish her memory. She is now reunited with her soulmate, Otto, and her loving parents Maria-Teresa and Juan René, in peace.
