Kenneth Ronald Galer

1942 - 2024

Passed away suddenly at St. Mary’s Hospital on Tuesday January 9th, 2024 at the age of 81 years.

Ken worked for the Waterloo Region School Board and later with Heffner Toyota, whom he considered his second family.

Beloved husband of the late Gail Galer ( March 2023) , they were married for over 58 years.  Loving Father of Stephanie (Tim), Martin (Marisa) and Peter (Carol). Cherished grandfather of Jesse, Cole, Brooklyn, Sydney, Smile, Eric, Presley and Ronin.  He was survived by his sister-in-law’s  Karen, nieces Anna and Charmian. 

He will be fondly remembered by many relatives, friends, co-workers and neighbours.

Predeceased by his parents, Ronald and Violet and by brothers Gordon and Robert.

Cremation has taken place.   A Celebration of life will take place on Sunday February 4th, 2024 from 1-3 at Heffner Toyota “Breithaupt St. Café” at 3121 King Street E. Kitchener.

 In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Mary’s Hospital Foundation or charity of choice as expressions of sympathy.
