Mary Anne (Marian) Cullen, nee Sanfey

Mary Anne (Marian) Cullen, nee Sanfey passed peacefully on September 23, 2024 in her 94th year. She was predeceased by her husband, John, and survived by her children, Maeve (Bill ), Aideen, John (Doris) and Desmond, her 3 grandchildren, Jordan, Ashley and John, and great grandchild, Henley. Marian moved to Canada from Ireland on her honeymoon and settled briefly in Toronto, moving to Cambridge in 1959. After staying home to raise her children, she attended the University of Waterloo to get her accounting degree and worked in that field until she retired in 1998. She enjoyed a busy social life with many dear friends, played bowls at the Preston Lawn Bowling Club and volunteered at Lisaard House hospice. Marian was admired for her keen wit, beautiful smile and great sense of humour. She will be dearly missed by those who knew her.
