Tom Aaron Lister

Tom Aaron Lister of Kitchener, and formerly of Ayr Ontario, passed away in his 33rd year on Sunday, September 22, after a long fight with muscular dystrophy.

He had his parents, Malcolm and Heather, and his sisters, Naomi and Imogen at his side.

His passing was very peaceful, and his attitude was one of grace and kindness right up until the end.  You’ll be in our hearts forever, Tom.

Many thanks to the nurses and medical staff at Freeport Hospital in Kitchener for your unwavering dedication and caring towards our son. Thanks too, to Tom's best friend Roy Loree, for being there for his friend in his final hours.

Cremation has taken place, and will be followed by a private celebration of life.

Donations can be forwarded to the Muscular Dystrophy Association, or to the Humane Society - Tom adored animals and his pets throughout his life.
