Michael Stephen Wilbur

Passed away peacefully on February 10, 2025 at Guelph General Hospital in Guelph, Ontario.

Beloved spouse of Lorna for over 25 years. Cherished father of Krista Lawrence (Stenvers)  (Mike Ewer), Jasmine Lathlin-Lowley, Robert Lathlin and Bradley Lathlin. Proud grandfather of Maverick Lawrence, Cali Ewer, Connor Ewer, Tashiena Lathlin Bear, Aaliyah Lathlin, Dayson Lathlin, Darien Crane-Lathlin, Elizabeth Lathlin, Sophie Weenusk-Lathlin, Nikki Robb, Riley Robb and Ashley Robb.  Dear brother of Gale Ternant, Bill Wakeford and Pattie Armstong.

Predeceased by his parents Mick and Jean Wakeford (Jim Wakeford).

Mike was a man whose heart was as big as his presence. He was always there for anyone who needed him, offering help, kindness, and a listening ear. His ability to touch the hearts of those around him was something few could match, leaving a lasting impression on everyone he met. A passionate Kitchener Rangers fan, he rarely missed a game, and his love for the team was only rivaled by his love for his family. Whether it was a hockey game, baseball game,  he could always be found in the stands, cheering on his grandkids with unwavering pride. His legacy of love, generosity, and dedication lives on in the countless lives he touched.

Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
