Norma Greenough

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother Norma, she passed away peacefully on August 21, 2024 at Hospice Wellington in Guelph, Ontario at the age of 82 years. Beloved wife of Ralph. Cherished mother of Paul (predeceased) (Adele), Dawn ,Teri (John). Loving grandmother to Rylee, Charlotte, Haiden, Josh, Erin, Daniel and Libby. Great-grandmother of Kai, Elizabeth, Lilly and Ryker. Predeceased by her parents Morris Sneath and Evelyn Sneath.

Norma came to Canada in 1971 with hopes of more opportunities for her family. She grew to love Canada and the many friends she made throughout her life. Mom loved nature and all animals and was known for feeding whatever came into the yard. Mom especially loved birds and had 3-4 feeders going at once. Her bird Bobbie kept her company for the past 7 years and will be lost without her. Mom always saw the good in people and often invited anyone over for holidays that had no family to celebrate with. Above all mom had a big heart and a kind soul.

Cremation has taken place and as per Norma’s wishes, there will be no formal memorial service. In lieu of flowers, donations to Wellington Hospice or the Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family. A Celebration of life will take place latter in the year with the date to yet be determined. Family will contact close friends and family once a date and location is set.
