Olive Audrey Thomson

1926 - 2024

Passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family at Stratford General Hospital, on Tuesday April 30, 2024 in her 98th year.

Born and raised in Gillingham, Kent England. Volunteered at an orphanage working with young children, worked as a nursing assistant during WWII, working with injured solders.

Audrey was very artistic. She loved her crafts, knitting, sewing, painting, and baking.

Beloved wife of the late Robert David Thomson (2020). She is Loving mother of Keith Thomson, Louise Porter (Grant) and Colin Thomson (Marea) and predeceased by two sons, Bob Thomson (2014) survived by wife Lise. Iain Thomson (2018) survived by wife Marianne. Cherished grandmother of Andrew & Jennifer Porter; Patrick and Daniel Thomson; Sandra Thomson; David and Jessica Thomson. Great grandmother to Caleb Thomson and Luca Clothier. Survived Loving sisters Silvia Dawson, Dorothy (Peggy), Tina Cooper.

Predeceased by her parents: John and Dorothy Murphy and brother Brian Murphy.

Cremation has taken place. A Private Family Gathering will be held at a later date.
