David Gettinby

1958 – 2024

Passed away at his residence in Kitchener, Ontario on Tuesday April 30th, 2024 at the age of 66 years.

Dave was born in Victoria , BC to Ronald and Eleanor ( nee Boynton) Gettinby. He worked as a mechanic for most of his working life. He enjoyed the great white north and playing the guitar .

David will be lovingly remembered by his 3 children, John Gettinby, Tanya Gettinby and Justin Gettinby.

Cherished grandfather of Carrie-Lynn, Zachary, Melissa, Tiffany, Skylar, Alexis, Emma, Darren, Hayley, Brody, Quinny, Hope and great-grandfather to Noah.

Predeceased by his parents, by a son James (2016), by his brother Wayne (2003) and by his sister Wendy Fillipuzi (2024).

Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
