Paul Douglas Dobbie

Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loved ones, on June 3, 2024 at Lisaard House in Cambridge, Ontario at the age of 78.

Loving partner of Dianne Fenton. Loving father to Joey Dobbie and proud grandfather to Dean Kobylnik. Dear brother of Bob Dobbie (Pat), Bill Dobbie, Arthur Dobbie (Marta), Bonnie Chow (Michael), Lynda Elliott, John Dobbie (Diane), Patricia Pelletier (Claude), Debra Dobbie, Deb Harrison, Amy Whetstone (Wayne) and Kim Davidson (Paul). Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Predeceased by his parents John and Velma Dobbie, Barbara Blondin (Alfred), and Beverly McQuinn (Albert).

Paul spent his working years as a professional painter, working with his brothers John and Bill. He was a member of Alcoholics Anonymous for 46 years. Paul loved to travel, watch Nascar racing, attend car shows and dance.

Cremation has taken place. As per Paul’s wishes, there will be no formal memorial service. There will be a Celebration of Life Reception on Sunday, June 23, 2024 at Lakeside Church in Guelph, Ontario from 1 – 4 pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations made to Lisaard House, Cambridge or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
