Paul Martin Sauve

1963-2023 

Passed away with loved ones at his side at Freeport Palliative Care Unit, Kitchener on Wednesday December 13, 2023 at the age of 60.

Paul lived his life on his terms. He favored a private life, but he made sure to join his family for events and holiday celebrations. Always available to lend a helping hand, his friends and family could count on him with a quick text or call.

Paul loved the outdoors. He spent hours driving in the countryside and walking with his dog, Ollie. In his own words, he enjoyed laying outside and watching the weather. He liked all of the seasons because of the changes and the scents, but Fall was his favorite.  He loved watching the leaves change and particularly enjoyed listening to the sound of the wind in the leaves. You can honor his spirit by pausing to listen to the wind flowing through the leaves on your next stroll.

Paul is predeceased by his father, Eugene Sauve. He is loved and missed by his mother, Irene Sauvé, his sister, Susanne Sauve (Kieth Monk), and his brother, Michael Sauvé (Rebecca). He will be especially missed by his girlfriend, Helen Southwood, and their dog, Ollie. Paul is the dear uncle of Elizabeth Sauvé, Benjamin Sauvé, Jasmine Monk, Marissa Monk, and Garrett Monk.

In keeping with Paul’s wishes, cremation has taken place. We will celebrate his life at a gathering to be held at a later date.

Paul loved animals and believed in the spirit of community. We ask that you consider a donation to the SPCA as an expression of sympathy.
