Susan Pauline Oberle

1947 – 2023

Passed away peacefully at St. Mary’s General Hospital on Wednesday December 13 at the age of 76 years.

Born in Hamilton, Susan relocated to Kitchener where she worked at Canadian Auto Workers Union Local 1524. Along with her husband Bruce Davidson, Susan was an active champion of human rights both in the office and on the picket line. She was surrounded with loving friends and enjoyed her down time on the golf course.

After retirement she married Kenneth Oberle and by his side managed Oberle’s General Store as well as the Senior’s Residence in Formosa. On top of all these responsibilities Susan was very active in charities, fundraising and community service.

She was extremely artistic and crafty.  She loved to paint, sew, knit, decorate, bake ceramics, stain glass, hook rugs, and so much more.

She was extraordinarily generous and a caring individual that supported a myriad of charities through donation and her fundraising efforts.
