Richard Omer Joseph Ouimette

Passed away peacefully on March 18, 2025 at Freeport Hospital in Kitchener, Ontario.

Beloved partner and best friend of Rose-Anne Girard for 25 years.

Cherished step-father of Yvon Brouillette (Laura) and Mike Brouillette (Natalie).

Proud grandfather of Amanda, Robert, Justin (Jasmine), Jessica (Nathan), Eric (Jessica), Hailey, Paul (Stephanie) and Mark (Sathya).

Dear brother of Irene (Lorne), Linda (Marcel), Claude (Lois), Ron (Louise) and Kim.

Predeceased by his parents Henri and Florence Ouimette, his brother Paul and sister Lorraine.

Rick was a very hard working and skilled “Jack of all Trades”. He was the Building Superintendent for Trade-Mark Industrial for over 10 years. His hobbies were carpentry work and fishing. He will be greatly missed by his Family, Colleagues at TMI and also his beloved puppy Bebee.

Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Freeport Hospital would be appreciated by the family.

At Rick’s request no funeral will take place, however a formal celebration of life is planned for the Summer of 2025 in Sudbury where he was born.
