Ruth Anne Collins

Passed away peacefully and surrounded by love at Chapman House Grey Bruce Hospice, Owen Sound on Sunday January 29th, 2023 at the age of 79 years.
 
Loving wife of the late Peter Laing Collins.  Daughter of the late Henry “Harry” Goettling and Catherine (Filsinger) Goettling. 
 
Ruth personally thanks the following: Don Egerde, like a big brother to me.  Angela Wise, cousin, niece, like a daughter to me. Pauline Leonard, cousin; and Paul, Bruce and Emma, my prayer warriors. Edith Kanderka, my cousin, thank you for your prayers every day.  The Care Partners Nurses of Hanover.  The Hanover Hospital staff - Dr. Nashed, Dr. Heerema, and Dr. Batten.  All staff and volunteers at Chapman house hospice. Love the ice cream :) My wonderful neighbours Karen Dean, thank you for the soup and treats; and Katie’s new Mom Helen Martin.  To Doug Graham and Katie Crosby - Family of My Heart Always.
