1964 - 2024
Passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of family on Tuesday February 13, 2024 in his 60th year.
Born in Halifax, NS. Graduate of Conestoga College as a Tool and Die Maker. Sean had a deep and abiding love of the natural world and was an avid Outdoorsman. He especially loved wilderness canoeing and camping with family.
Beloved husband and best friend of Allison ( nee Johnson). They would have celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary in September this year.
Loving father of Matthew (Astra) of Kitchener, Brendan (Elisse) of Kitchener, Aislinn (Matt) of Goderich, Caileigh (Josh) of Stratford and Zachary (Alissa) of Kitchener.
Cherished Grampa of Edana, Elijah, Cynan, Charlotte, Alice, Maebh, Clara, Callum, Lughus, Aine, Aurelia, Gwydion and Ceridwen. Predeceased by infant grandsons Malcolm and Orin.
Dear brother of Dawn Kathleen Lawson (deceased) and Patricia Louise Purcell (deceased).
Only son of Sally Kathleen MacLennan (deceased) and Kenneth James Purcell (deceased).
Cremation will take place followed by a Celebration of Life which will be held at a date to be determined in the spring of this year.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cambridge Memorial Hospital Foundation as expressions of sympathy.
