Anne Francoise Tasse

1949 -2024

Passed away after a lengthy battle with cancer with her family by her side on Wednesday February 14th, 2024 at the age of 74.

Anne was born, raised and schooled in Sudbury, Ontario . She came to Toronto in the mid - sixties working for Capitol Records before moving to Kitchener.  Most of her working career she was as a quality control inspector until getting into the bilingual customer service sector as a representative and manager retiring at 62 years of age.

She enjoyed reading in the summer and doing puzzles in the winter. She liked watching her New Orleans Saints, especially when they won the Super Bowl. Anne was an avid golfer and was a member of Puslinch Lake Golf Course for 19 years. She also played in Women’s’ Golf leagues at Saginaw and River Edge Golf Course. Anne enjoyed watching her grandkids play on the travel teams in hockey, baseball and soccer. She will be profoundly missed by all of them.

Anne was best friend and beloved wife of David Daly for over 40 years.  She was predeceased by her parents Albert and Fabiola Tasse and by her sister Louise.

Anne was the dear sister of Richard, Rachel, Andy, Denis, Yvette, Celine, Helene, Marie, Peter and their spouses.  Anne was a loving mother to Colette ( Bill), Adele ( d. Jason) and Matthew ( Beaucia).

Cherished grandmother of Jacob, Conner, Preston, Zachary and Quinn as well as by her Second family ( The Dubois) consisting of 6 brothers , 2 sisters and their families and 1 brother deceased.

Cremation will take place. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday May 25th, 2024 from 12:30 -4 pm at the Hespeler Legion Branch # 272 26 Schofied St. Cambridge.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Grand River Regional Cancer Centre OR /Lisaard House as expressions of sympathy.
