Sharon Elizabeth Pettifer

1947-2023

Passed away peacefully at home in Kitchener surrounded by her family on Tuesday October 31st, 2023, at the age of 76 years.

Born October 31, 1947, in Sarnia, Ontario. At the age of 3 she was adopted by Albert and Amy Wilkinson in Kilsyth, Ontario where she was raised on the family farm and attended Kilsyth school. At approximately 16 years of age, she had come to Guelph, Ontario where she had met and married Norman E. Pettifer and had 57 wonderful years together. After 30+ years at W. C. Wood’s she retired in 2007. Her biggest enjoyment was cooking and baking and hosting dinners and events for family and friends. Along with her continuous generosity.

Cremation has taken place. A private family gathering will be held at a later date with an interment in Memory Gardens, Breslau.
