Thomas (Kahuna) Thompson
On Sunday May 12th, 2024 at the age of 73. Thomas Thompson passed away peacefully at Hospice Wellington, Guelph.
Thomas is predeceased by his parents Harold and Doreen, his sister Connie Stalbaum and his brother Bill.
He will be sadly missed by his son, Jason Thompson and his daughter, Stacy Gravelle (Dan), by his beloved grandchildren; Sydney and Logan, also by his sisters Judy Gilbert and Sandy Chilton, by his brother Jack and by his nieces and nephews and by all of his Friends and his IBEW brothers.
Thomas loved to hit the road on his Harley motorcycle, often up to Lake Huron. He also enjoyed being Santa on a Harley for charity events at Christmas. He loved movies, live music and karaoke. He cultivated many long-term friendships through his working years with the IBEW and socially through music.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday June 1st from 4 pm to 7 pm at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 50, 524 Belmont Ave. W. in Kitchener.
Donations to Hospice Wellington or the Canadian Cancer Society in Thomas’s memory would be greatly welcomed and very much appreciated.
