Ursela Stachowski

Ursela passed away peacefully at home on October 12, 2023 with her family by her side.

Beloved wife of Helmut Stachowski for 50 years. Cherished mother of Rita (Andy) and Richard (Nancy) and grandchildren Taylor, Nathan and Kathleen. Aunt to Carla Stachowski and great Aunt to Amy Martinovic. Cousin of Albert Seewald. Remembered by nieces and nephews in Germany and relatives in Simcoe. Pre-deceased by her parents, sister Irmgard and brother Ewald Luttmann. Predeceased by sister-in-law Irma Bogen (the late Carl).

Ursela emigrated to Canada when she was 18 years old, wanting to explore the opportunities that Canada offered. Ursula worked for The Waterloo Furniture Company before settling down to raise her family. She enjoyed many years of horseback riding with her daughter Rita, camping with her family, reading and her daily visits to Tim Hortons.

Details regarding Internment and Memorial of Ursela’s life will be communicated at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Ursela’s memory can be made to Cambridge Humane Society or a charity of your choice.
